ToughStep® – double stick underlay.ToughStep® has been specifically engineered as a double-stick underlay for commercial applications, or for natural floor coverings such as sisal, where a firmer underlay is essential.Its structure is stronger and denser than standard foam underlays, providing greater stability and resilience. This delivers superior performance for natural carpets like sisal, which are rigid and have almost no elasticity compared to wool or synthetic carpets. A firmer underlay helps keep these floorcoverings stable and prevents rippling or distortion. In addition, ToughStep’s firmness allows office chairs, wheeled furniture, and wheelchairs to move with less resistance when installed using a double-stick method.
