Dual Bond High Tack Adhesive
STYCCOBOND F40 is a dual bond, high tack adhesive, developed to provide a peelable bond for release underlays. You can also use it as a permanent or release bond adhesive when fixing carpets. It is water based and white in colour, which dries to form a transparent, permanently tacky coating.
This high tack adhesive has a quick drying time from 40 minutes, enabling faster project completion. It is a solvent-free, synthetic polymer emulsion adhesive that is suitable for use with normal underfloor heating installations.
The type of bond achieved is dependent on when you lay the floorcovering into the adhesive. If you lay the floorcovering into the adhesive once it has dried, you can then lift the underlay or carpet without causing significant damage to either the floorcovering or the subfloor. Laying the floorcovering into wet adhesive creates a permanent bond.
Floor fitters can use our high tack adhesive for securing a wide range of carpets which include those with felt, secondary, unitary and a range of other backings.
STYCCOBOND F40 is tested to the standards of the International Marine Organisation and is approved for use in marine floor installations.
